REFUND POLICY

1. SINGLE SCAN REFUNDS

For one-time app scans ($19):

  • Full refund if we fail to deliver your Duck Report within 24 hours
  • Full refund if our scanning system fails to process your app due to technical issues on our end
  • No refund if the scan completes and delivers a report, regardless of findings
  • No refund if your app cannot be scanned due to invalid build or app-side issues

2. SUBSCRIPTION REFUNDS

For monthly subscriptions (Basic $29/mo, Pro $69/mo):

  • Prorated refund within first 7 days if you haven't used any scans
  • Partial refund within first 7 days, minus the cost of scans used ($19 per scan)
  • No refund after 7 days from subscription start
  • You can cancel anytime to prevent future charges, but no refund for current billing period

3. EXTRA SCAN CHARGES

Additional scans purchased beyond your plan limit ($12 each):

  • Refundable if scan was not initiated within 7 days
  • Non-refundable after 7 days from purchase
  • Non-refundable once scanning begins

4. QUALITY GUARANTEE

If our Duck Report gave a PASSED result and you still get rejected:

  • We will re-scan your app for FREE
  • We will update our detection systems to catch the issue we missed
  • This applies only if our report explicitly showed PASSED status
  • This does NOT apply to new issues introduced after our review
  • This does NOT apply if our report identified issues that you didn't fix

5. NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

We cannot provide refunds in the following cases:

  • You disagree with the findings in our Duck Report
  • Your app gets rejected for reasons not covered in our scan
  • You choose not to fix the issues we identified
  • Your app gets rejected due to changes made after our scan
  • Apple changes their guidelines after our review
  • You uploaded the wrong build for scanning

6. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at founder@tryrubbedduck.com
  2. Include your order/subscription ID
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. We will respond within 2 business days
  5. Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days

7. CANCELLATION POLICY

For subscriptions:

  • Cancel anytime from your account dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • You retain access to your plan until the period ends
  • No partial refunds for unused time in the billing period
  • Unused scans do not roll over after cancellation

8. PAYMENT DISPUTES

If you have a payment dispute:

  • Contact us BEFORE initiating a chargeback
  • Most issues can be resolved through direct communication
  • Chargebacks may result in account suspension
  • We will work with you to resolve legitimate billing errors
